International Disaster Services (IDS) is a Georgia-based company that specializes in mobilizing on-demand housing, support structures, and temporary utilities in disaster situations. IDS provides a full range of service options, including installation, delivery, and additional services, including portable waste management systems.

IDS has developed a broad range of emergency solutions for potentially threatening disaster scenarios. Disaster Relief Units (DRUs) are customized for deployment as military barracks, family housing, administrative control centers, and mobile medical facilities. Additional models can be designed and built in short order to meet special needs.

The IDS Cargo Container Solution
IDS offers a wide variety of mobile solutions.  We build all of our units from scratch, starting with cargo containers.  Cargo containers are strong, durable and heavy.  The strength of the unit is needed for the constant travel that mobile units go through.  The durable inside and outside of the units allows IDS units to stand up to strong winds, rains and other inclement weather.  The weight of the unit serves the same purpose.  Our units stay in place because they are heavy and weather can't move them easily.
 

Base Container Specs
Cargo containers come in two sizes: 40' x 8' x 9'6" and 20' x 8' x 9'6" (L x W x H).  IDS uses both sizes of containers as a base for all of our units.  Containers can be welded together to create wider, longer or shorter units as well.
 

Easy Access
We can provide water, sewer, and electrical services in the most remote of locations. If a truck can get there, we can get there.
 

Logistics and Transportation
More than a manufacturer, IDS is a service provider. The ISO Container standard allows immediate transport by rail, truck, ship and the unit can be airlifted into remote regions anywhere in the world. IDS can deliver, install, and pick up the unit after you are through using it.
